I like drawing all kinds of pictures: animals, people, buildings, and bikes. In my drawings, I like to layer two colors together and outline with sharpies. I like bright colors.
Did you know that Flying Shuttles artists make special orders? We do! We make placement, tablerunners, rugs and custom artwork. Here is Damon working on a special order of four placemats in the colors of a customer's kitchen. Our weavers and artists make take a bit of time to complete your order, as everything is handmade. We know the work is worth the wait!
Join Flying Shuttles artists: Paul Almeida, Brenda Wilkinson, Nancy McParlin and Alfred Smith this Thursday for a Gallery Night Reception at The URI Providence Art Gallery.
Brenda's work includes some local spots. The Foundry Clock Man, a Pawtucket Mill Building and a beautiful peek into a fantasy that could be in Europe but reminds me us of a night out at Water Fire.
